The overall objective of this course is to provide a firm foundation upon which you can build your skills, knowledge and attitudes about the Texas Health and Human Services system. You've already learned about our mission, philosophy, and guiding principles.
In addition, at the completion of this training you will be able to:
- Describe the HHS organizational structure and identify your agency within it
- Describe the five agencies that make up HHS and the programs operated by those agencies
- State the standards for employee responsibility in the following areas: safety, information security, confidentiality, teamwork, ownership, professional behavior, ethical behavior and focus on clients
- Identify ongoing resources for news and information
